'The Old Chapel' is a converted Old Weslyean Methodist chapel dating back to the 1890s.
It retains many of its original character features, including large arched windows, exposed beams and oak flooring.
It is situated in Seaton Ross, in the heart of the East Yorkshire countryside midway between the historic towns of York and Beverley.
It boasts a host of features to make your stay more comfortable including a fully fitted designer kitchen and luxury designer bathroom with traditional rolltop bath.

The Old Chapel is full of character and charm. It is situated in the tranquil village of Seaton Ross, surrounded by rural countryside. For those who like walking, there are numerous interesting and picturesque footpaths to explore which begin in Seaton Ross and the surrounding villages, as well as the Wolds Way, which winds through some of the most tranquil countryside in England. Of historic interest in the village itself, are the two old mills and St Edmund’s Church. The village pub and the local shop are only a few minutes walk away.

York is only 20 minutes away, where attractions include York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre, the Shambles and York Dungeon, as well as the quaint cobbled streets and the vibrant cafe culture. Beverley, only half an hour away, has a rich cultural heritage, including St Mary's Church and the Beverley Minster, as well as the Westwood, the Racecourse and the markets. Both York and Beverley are host to a number of music, arts and food festivals each year. Nearby is the bustling market town of Pocklington, with many pubs, restaurants, cafes, tea rooms and shops, and Pocklington Arts Centre, which holds regular musical and comedy events. Other nearby attractions include Burnby Hall Gardens, the Wolds Gliding Club, Pocklington Canal, Millington Wood and Wheldrake Ings Nature Reserve. The North York Moors and the coastal towns of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough,are within easy travelling distance. A little further along the coast are Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. The stately homes of Castle Howard, Sledmere and Burton Agnes are also within easy reach. For those interested in birds, visit the RSPB sites at Bempton and Blacktoft Sands.
